Brief description
This site in Kent comprises 3 distinct areas: the cathedral, which is the oldest in England and a magnet for pilgrims and tourists alike, St Augustine’s Abbey – now a ruin in the care of English Heritage, and St Martin’s Church – a short walk from the other 2 and much less visited, this small church is the oldest in England.
Its probably one of the closest sites to where I live, so we’ve visited many times.
